Swansea actors reach the Actors Reels studio in Manchester in around four hours, usually via Cardiff or Birmingham. This is a long trip, so we recommend the one-hour session — up to three monologues for £295, delivered in 5-10 working days.
Four hours each way is a genuine commitment and we are not going to pretend otherwise. For a single monologue it is almost certainly not worth it, and we will tell you that on the phone rather than after you have booked.
For a three-piece reel it can be. Swansea actors often work bilingually and across the Welsh and English circuits, and a reel that shows real range across both is worth having. The Grand and Trinity Saint David keep a steady flow of trained performers coming through.
Via Cardiff or Birmingham, one or two changes depending on the route. If you are already travelling east for auditions, this is much easier to justify than as a standalone trip — tell us and we will build the slot around it.

For one monologue, no. For a three-monologue reel, or if you are already coming east for auditions, yes. We would rather lose the booking than have you spend eight hours travelling for something marginal.
That is the sensible way to do it. Tell us your other dates when you enquire and we will fit the session around them.
